The Traditional Chinese Medicine takes it for granted that circulatory disorders, back pains and muscular tensions are signs of the life energy (Chi) not being able to flow freely through the body. Illness takes hold if the Chi cannot get to certain areas of the body. Various motion sequences reactivate the energy flow in our body. The motions are based on aspects of the YIN and YANG philosophy and therefore are small and large, high and low, moving from right to left and back and forth, etc. Breathing is reinforced and thus the Chi flow enhanced.
